The EU Policy Lab has developed tools to discuss future migration scenarios in Europe

Posted on 4 June 2020 by CHILD-UP team

The Scenario Exploration System is a foresight board game developed by the EU Policy Lab to explore future scenarios of migration in Europe in 2030. It helps policy makers, business and civil society actors to discuss plausible policy options related to different scenarios of migration ten years from now.

The game, which is the result of the “Future of migration” Policy Lab started in 2017, can be downloaded from the EU Policy Lab website (https://ec.europa.eu/jrc/en/publication/migration‑discussion‑toolkit‑elements) and its average duration is three hours.

CHILD-UP researches into the level of integration of migrant children in Europe and their social condition, with the primary aim of providing support for migrant children’s exercise of agency in changing their own conditions of integration and constructing hybrid identities.
