Scientific Advisory Board
The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) includes six experts and is focused on overseeing the quality of the research phases, data collection and management, documents and evaluation process results, as well as ethical issues.

Researcher at the Centre for Middle Eastern Studies (Lund University). Expert in teaching children with migrant background and refugee children.
Professor of Education and Head of the School of Education at University College of Dublin. Expert in the sociological fields of children’s rights and identities and children’s educational well-being.
Lecturer (Lazarski University Warsaw). Expert in integration of vulnerable migrant children.
Sociologist, working at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (Munich). Expert of migration and integration, gender studies, sociology of childhood.
Professor of Applied Linguistics and Intercultural education (Canterbury Christ Church University, UK). Expert in intercultural communication, language education and qualitative research methodology.
Associate professor (Aarhus University). Expert in citizenship acquisition, immigrant integration and integration policies.
CHILD-UP researches into the level of integration of migrant children in Europe and their social condition, with the primary aim of providing support for migrant children’s exercise of agency in changing their own conditions of integration and constructing hybrid identities.
