Postponement of the WERA Focal Meeting

Posted on 08/Apr/2020 by CHILD-UP team

The postponement of WERA 2020 and its transformation in WERA 2020+1 has been communicated to the CHILD-UP project coordinator.

In response to the latest developments of the COVID-19 pandemic around the world, the World Education Research Association (WERA), and Sociedad Espanola de Pedagogía (SEP), in conjunction with Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, and Red Transdisciplinar de Investigación Educativa (RETINDE) have decided to postpone the 2020 WERA Focal Meeting in Santiago de Compostela, Spain to 2021.

All accepted submissions for the WERA 2020 Focal Meeting have been declared valid for the WERA 2020+1 Focal Meeting. Therefore, the CHILD-UP representatives will present the project during its third year of implementation.

In the message, the organisers declared that, while understanding that postponing the conference might result in some inconveniences, the well-being of partners, presenters and participants pushed them to opt for this difficult decision.
