Scientific Advisory Board

The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) includes seven experts and is focused on overseeing the quality of the research phased, data collection and management, documents and evaluation process results, as well as the ethical issues.

Members of the Scientific Advisory Board  

Helen Avery   Researcher at the Centre for Middle Eastern Studies (Lund University). Expert in teaching children with migrant background and refugee children.  
Dympna Devine   Professor of Education and Head of the School of Education at University College of Dublin. Expert in the sociological fields of children’s rights and identities and children’s educational well-being.  
Katarzyna Gmaj   Lecturer (Lazarski University Warsaw). Expert in integration of vulnerable migrant children.  
Ulrike Hess Meining   Sociologist, working at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (Munich). Expert of migration and integration, gender studies, sociology of childhood.   
Adrian Holliday     Professor of Applied Linguistics and Intercultural education (Canterbury Christ Church University, UK). Expert in intercultural communication, language education and qualitative research methodology.   
Per Mouritsen   Associate professor (Aarhus University). Expert in citizenship acquisition, immigrant integration and integration policies  
Carine Thibaut   Campaign manager for the National Center for Development Cooperation (CNCD), umbrella organization of Belgian and French-speaking NGOs and associations committed to international solidarity. Expert in migration rights and justice.
